Content Sharing Websites Start Your Social Marketing Strategy
The first step in your social marketing strategy should be to write as many articles as possible and share these on social content sharing websites such as Squidoo and HubPages. These websites in themselves will attract large amounts of traffic for your pages and so send more traffic to your website and more customers to your business.

Bookmark Your Social Pages
Once you have created social content sharing pages then you should use social bookmarking services to bookmark these pages. You should also use social bookmarking to bookmark everything else possible – your website pages, your blog, other social marketing pages, etc.

Create a Social Networking Profile on MySpace and Facebook
Another important social marketing strategy is to use social networking. Create a profile on MySpace,Facebook and any other social networking websites you know of and then use these to promote your other pages. Some social marketing applications you should consider adding to your Facebook profile include MyLinks (allows you to add your profile pages on Delicious, Digg, MySpace, Twitter and others), and StumbleUpon (shows the latest pages you have bookmarked using StumbleUpon on your Facebook profile).

Use YouTube
YouTube is one of the most popular websites on the internet today and if you can use this to promote your business then you will bring more traffic to your website and customers to your business. You can either create your own promotional videos or run a contest to let others create your videos and then let them send their entries via YouTube. The important thing is to get as many videos on YouTube as possible to ensure that as many people see you as possible.
